What does the £300 cover?
£250 fee + £50 VAT = £300 total per suitable Form A1-2 application. It covers preparation, submission and follow-up across Great Britain. It does not buy installation, approval, commissioning or a grid upgrade. Separate network requirements and costs may apply.
How do I know this service is suitable?
Use the eligibility route and discuss uncertain cases with us. The rendered campus is illustrative, not a verified eligible A1-2 design. The quoted fee does not cover every commercial project.
Can I use my own installer?
Yes. Installers keep their job and accreditation; the service supports their application. Property owners can separately discuss installation with Aesir. Installation is not part of this application fee.
What information will I need?
The form asks for contact and installation details, inverter/output/supply information, and relevant type-test, storage, export-limitation and backup details. See what to have ready. Contact us about missing information before paying.
Is approval or a timescale guaranteed?
No. The network operator’s process, assessment and any further requirements determine the outcome and timing. Paying the application-service fee does not grant permission to operate or complete commissioning.
Does a battery keep the business running in an outage?
Not automatically. Backup requires an appropriate system design for the chosen loads and operating conditions. Storage capacity and power are finite; conversion also involves losses.
What does the generation example prove?
It shows a supplied, dated transcription of one site’s generation record. It is not live data, independently certified performance, an Aesir installation claim or customer endorsement. It does not predict another roof’s output or savings.
What happens if the operator asks for changes or refuses?
We follow up on queries and explain the outcome and any further requirements. Approval is not guaranteed. Changes to the proposed installation may need revised work or another application; we explain any additional fee before proceeding. Network charges and installation changes are separate.
What if Aesir makes a paperwork error?
We correct errors in our own application paperwork without an extra fee. You remain responsible for supplying accurate installation information. A changed design or new information can require additional work; we explain any charge first.
Does the fee cover more than one installation?
The £300 total is for one suitable Form A1-2 application for one installation. It is not a subscription or a price for every commercial project. Discuss multiple premises or a changed installation with us before paying.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
Contact us promptly. Before submission, the refund policy provides for a refund less work you asked us to carry out. Consumer cancellation rights and the policy’s other qualifications still apply. Read the full refund policy for the conditions, or email hello@aesirsolar.co.uk.
Where can I find the policies or more help?
Read the terms, refund policy and privacy notice. For a suitability question or help with an existing application, use our contact page. Include your installation postcode and any order reference; do not send payment-card details.
